Kittery, ME Housing Market Trends

With a population of 10,235, 4,849 total housing units (homes and apartments), and a median house value of $671,371, Kittery house prices are not only among the most expensive in Maine, Kittery real estate also is some of the most expensive in all of America.

Single-family detached homes are the single most common housing type in Kittery, accounting for 62.90% of the town's housing units. Other types of housing that are prevalent in Kittery include duplexes, homes converted to apartments or other small apartment buildings ( 17.62%), large apartment complexes or high rise apartments ( 8.73%), and a few row houses and other attached homes ( 6.98%).
